- The job involves identifying and selling to potential advertisers based on the audience profile of the magazine, servicing existing clients and working with their agencies to secure advertising, conceptualizing new features or advertising properties and identifying new opportunities to increase advertising revenues.
- Applicants should have a successful sales track record and an ability to spearhead sales by actively engaging clients. A good understanding of B2B sales, along with the ability to map the market at all levels.
- The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills (written & oral). They should be highly motivated and self-driven go-getters with a "never say die" attitude. They should have the ability to sell honestly and the strength to sell without discounts and editorial support. They should be able to think creatively and map the market at all levels. The selected candidates will be responsible for aggressive sales targets.
