Associate Director- Energy

The Associate Director will lead a team of 8-10 analysts and senoir analysts in the energy/power sector team. The person should have relevant work experience of 7-10 years in energy research/consulting area of which about 3 should have been in a team leader postion. He/she must have a high degree of intellectual curiosity, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and a strong sense of ethics.

Senior Analyst- Energy

Job Description:

The Senior Analyst will lead a team of 3- 4 member team and provide the intellectual leadership in the energy sector. He/she will lead teams undertaking research assignments in the energy sector primarily focusing on oil and gas along with renewable energy segments. The ideal candidate will lead the firm's global monthly report on gas sector and also contribute analytical and insightful articles in magazines and critical chapters in research reports. He/she will be an essential team member of all custom and syndicated research projects in the sector and will lead the report design, quality control and timeliness. The candidate will also develop the programme for conferences in the sector. She/he will be a member of the senior research team involved in setting the overall operational agenda of the research team.

The right candidate for this position will have good in-depth sector knowledge and should be seen as a sector expert who can provide independent comments on the various developments of the sector. The ideal candidate would have led a team in a similar profile and should be able to manage a team in executing research projects in the infrastructure sector. He/she should have a master's degree in economics, business or another related area.

The person should have relevant work experience of about 5+ years in infrastructure research with a similar profile. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. She/he should be self-motivated and demonstrate a high degree of professional ethics.

The position will command an excellent base salary plus performance-based incentives.

Senior Analysts/Research Analysts

Analysts with 1-7 years of experience in research/consulting, along with a master’s degree. Senior analysts(>4 years relevant experiene), who will also be team leaders, must have a proven ability to conceive, develop and execute projects in the infrastructure sectors. All candidates must have a high degree of intellectual curiosity, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and a strong sense of ethics.

Junior Associate

The Junior Associate will support the company's research activities. Specific tasks would include tracking and reviewing infrastructure sector projects; gathering research data and information through primary and secondary sources; and developing easy-to-interpret representation of researched information. The area of coverage will include national and select international infrastructure segments.

The ideal candidate should possess high degree of intellectual curiosity, value personal integrity and ethics, be perseverant to provide quality deliverable within the allotted timeline, and be self-motivated with a keen desire to develop understanding of the infrastructure sector in the global environment.

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in economics/commerce or other related fields, excellent communication skills, high degree of proficiency in English (both verbal and written), ability to work with numbers, and familiarity with computer use including databases, software programs utilizing spreadsheets. Work experience is not required.

Marketing/Advertising Executives

Marketing executives with 1-5 years' experience in media, advertising, PR or other service-oriented organisations like banks, hotels and airlines. They should be young, self-driven, hard-working and achievement oriented. They should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, confidence to deal with and convince top management, ability to work under pressure with targets and deadlines.

Conference Sales Executives

Dynamic result-oriented professionals who are articulate, have excellent command over English and good communication skills. Candidates should be skilled in the use MS Office and familiar with internet-based research.

Information Product Sales Executives

Dynamic result-oriented professionals who are articulate, have excellent command over English and good communication skills. They should be skilled in the use of MS Office and have the capability to understand the content of research products to help market them.

Marketing Assistant

The candidate would assist in circulation (sales) for our magazines and directories. This will involve marketing via email and phone. There will be no field visits required. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business administration or business management or marketing. No experience is required. He/she must have good communication skills (written and verbal). He/she should be willing to work hard and be comfortable with sales targets.

Website Administrator

Candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in desktop publishing (print or online). He/she should have high level of ownership, eye for detail and good communication skills.
