- The city gas distribution sector is expected to be one of the key drivers forthe increased share of natural gas (15 per cent) in India’s energy mix by 2030. The sector is expected to see investments of around Rs 1.2 trillion over the next few years with authorisation of new GAs under the 11th round as well as the operationalisation of awarded GAs.
- With the increase in demand, it is becoming important for CGD companies to invest in digital technologies and work out their digital transformation plans to maximiseoperational efficiency and monitor their assets with greater precision.
